Arun believes that authenticity is everything. For him, it’s the most important ingredient when telling the story of a brand. And only when a brand connects with the most authentic mind-state of its audience, will customers feel a sense of “belonging” to the brand. Arun has built brands such as LG, Dell, McAfee, American Express, Kmart, Toyota, International Paper, Mercedes Benz, JCPenney, C Spire Wireless, Kleenex, Volvo, Lysol, etc. He has worked and learned at TBWA/Chiat/Day, Ogilvy, MullenLoweProfero, Y&R, McCabe & Company, JWT, Havas and KBS+. And has been rewarded at industry award shows like the One Show, Cannes Film Festival, Art Directors Club, Clio, ANDY, Addys. Arun co-founded Lucy with the intention of having as much of an impact on the ad industry as it did on him. Arun lives in Manhattan with his wife, three daughters and a male puppy who helps boost the testosterone levels at home. He’s very proud of the fact that he hasn’t lost his authentic Indian accent even after spending three decades in the US.
